I should be doing my paper but I want a break.
Meme from Nagi (
dreaming_nagi13):
1. Leave me a casual comment of no particular significance, like a lyric to your current favorite song, your favorite kind of sandwich, or maybe your favorite game. Any remark, meaningless or not.
2. I will respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. Update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
1. What are your top three favorite chocolates and why?
-
SNICKERS: I don't really know why. It's just so yummy with the nuts and nougat and shoot, I want some now just so I can remember why I love snickers. I actually ate a bar every other day when I was in the States. O_O Explains why I gained weight.
-
CRUNKY: Because awesome fangirls Ionne (
ionnesaysrawr) and Ira (
purebloodqueen) gave me a box of it as a debut gift and I really, in Kame's words, ENJOYED MY CRUNKY TIME.
-
REESE'S PEANUT BUTTERCUPS/TWIX: Because peanut butter, hello. LOL, and Twix is just special. 8DD
2. Name one thing you can never ever be without and explain why.
(Does it
really have to be a thing?)
-
RyoPipod: It's my daily mood-setter. I need to listen to my songs to have a good day or match my mood. I remember leaving my earphones and bringing only my RyoPipod one stress-filled schoolday. I couldn't listen to my songs. Horrific. O___O
3. If you were to compare yourself to a character from any story, who would that character be and why?
-
Ahomiya Amemiya Hotaru from Hotaru no Hikari: I'm sooooo much like her. I laze around at home and look as if I'm such a hardworking person outside. I can actually relate to her... a lot.
4. Was there ever a time that you were jealous of somebody or something? If so, explain why.
-
Yes, but it's seriously really shallow: I used to be jealous of fangirls who know how to fangirl. O_O Can I not explain this? It's so embarrassing. LOL! I actually wrote an entry about it before.
5. Name three things you love about the Filipino culture and explain why.
(MAKABAYAN!)
-
Music: Our country has really talented artists especially when it comes to music and I mean, choral music. Maybe I just think this way because I'm most familiar with this kind of music. We have great choirs and composers in the Philippines which are known worldwide because of their creativity and "diversity" when it comes to creating music.
-
Language: I have to admit, I really suck when it comes to reading or speaking in Filipino but I still love our language. Especially when it comes to talking about love. Just read Florante at Laura. IDK, I actually loved it.
-
Street Food: How can I not love street food? They are what makes living/staying in the Philippines an enjoyable experience. Balut, chicharon bulaklak, taho, penoy, isaw, fishballs, squidballs, dirty ice cream, banana chips, fish chips, ice scramble, bananacue, kamotecue and so much more. Heck, I even have a pencil case with a list of street foods written on it. They're THAT good. Hahaha.
Quote of the Day:
(Can't think of one so I went book-cutting. I so want to continue this book but I'm too busy right now. BOO.)
